CHESTER GOLF CLUB
ABBREVIATED COMPETITION CODE OF CONDUCT

The club code of conduct applies to golf competitions at Chester Golf Club as allowed under Rule 1.2 of the Rules of Golf. This is the abbreviated version. Full details of the Code of conduct may be viewed on the club website.
All players must collect their cards from the Professional shop prior to the competition and acquaint themselves with the Rules of the Competition and any local Rules.
Each player must start their round at their appointed tee time. Players who are more than 5 minutes late or do not turn up for their tee time shall, subject to Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf, be disqualified.
Subject to the competition being not being abandoned all players shall complete their cards in accordance with Rule 3 of Rules of Golf.
All players shall, when required by the competition, enter the score on the club computer system and the card then posted through the relevant post box within 30 minutes of completing their round. If a player cannot enter the score on the computer system then they shall mark the reason why this is the case on the card and post the card in the normal manner.
The second time a player fails to comply with the club code of conduct they may be issued with a warning letter advising that any subsequent breach will result in a suspension from entry for their next 3 eligible competitions. Each subsequent failure to comply shall result in a further 3 competition suspension.
